Golden State Warriors star small forward Kevin Durant has been diagnosed with a mild strain on his right calf. Durant will miss the rest of the series against the Houston Rockets.
Per Jeff Stotts of RotoWire, since the 2005-06 season, the average missed time for a calf strain in the NBA is roughly two weeks.
The Warriors are up 3-2 on the Rockets. Golden State is hoping Durant can return for the Western Conference Finals:

Durant has been a machine during the playoffs. The two-time Finals MVP is averaging 34.2 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists while shooting 51.3 percent from the field, 41.6 percent from beyond the arc and 90.1 percent from the free-throw line.
The Warriors are counting their blessings that KD didn't suffer an Achilles tear because that's what everyone initially thought happened. Two weeks from today (5/9) would be May 23. If the Warriors advance to the Western Conference Finals, May 23 would probably be around Game 4 of that series. We'll have to see how Durant responds to treatment moving forward.
Golden State will look to end the series against the Rockets on Friday in Game 6. If there's a Game 7, it would be on May 12 at Oracle Arena. The injury to Durant happened at a really bad time for the Dubs.
