With 10 players in its active roster and the impending signature of Kevin Durant in the works, the Golden State Warriors could consider free agent shooting guard Nick Young as a “serious candidate” to take their $5.2 million exception, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The swagtastic marksman could be eligible for part or all of the Warriors' $5.2M exception, shall he choose to skip on heftier mid-level exception offers from around the league.
Ian Clark, who played a key role with the team in his second season and even won the Summer League's MVP trophy, will likely net plenty of offers from other teams once the key free agents have found their destinations — making his departure from Golden State only a matter of time.

The Warriors would be left with only Patrick McCaw as the only other non-starting shooting guard on the team, creating the immediate necessity for a deep threat coming off the bench.
The organization has specialized in reclamation projects, bringing in the much-maligned JaVale McGee and signing him to a one-year deal for the veteran's minimum — move that proved to have a major impact during the regular season and the postseason.
Swaggy P could be the next one in line to garner the same treatment if he chooses to play for the organization, given how reliant they will be on acquiring their remaining pieces on cheap contracts after doling out a whopping $275.3 million in the past 40 hours of free agency.
