The 2016-2017 season started with a lot of players having incredible performances and teams wanting to show their dominance early on.
Russell Westbrook is currently on pace to replicate Oscar Robertson‘s feat 55 years ago of averaging a triple-double throughout the regular season while James Harden is having his best season yet with career-highs in rebounds and assists together with his 28.4 points per game. The Golden State Warriors once again won 30 of their first 35 games for the third consecutive campaign and proving to everyone why they entered the season as the favorites to win the championship for the second time in three years.
With all the individual brilliance and stellar play we've seen thus far, the Toronto Raptors, Houston Rockets, and Golden State Warriors are not going to be left out as they currently hold the top three offensive ratings in NBA history.

Offensive rating is calculated by Points Produced / Individual Possessions x 100 or simply put, points per 100 possessions.
With these teams having the ability to score in different ways while also getting a lot of offensive rebounds, it helped them get more easy baskets which explains their high averages. Should they all continue the pace they're currently in, they'll get to secure a part of history as the best offenses ever.
