The NBA's annual general manager survey picked the Golden State Warriors as overwhelming favorites to win the NBA title for a third straight season, getting 87 percent of the vote.

The Warriors have now won the title in three of the last four seasons, having reached the NBA Finals in all of them, most recently in their most demonstrative effort of dominance with a 4-0 sweep of the Cleveland Cavaliers, despite being taken to seven games by the Houston Rockets.

While other teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers have reloaded with new talent, they are still considered relative outsiders looking in, especially when Golden State is expecting reinforcements through the middle of the season, hoping to have their $5.3 million investment, DeMarcus Cousins, back on the court by late December or January.

The return of Cousins could bring some pitfalls, but the Warriors' talent level is overwhelming even if he doesn't come back looking like the Boogie of old.
