Golden State Warriors veteran small forward Andre Iguodala is 35-years-old and has a lot of miles on his body. Yet, when you watch the swingman play for the Dubs, you wouldn't be able to tell he has appeared in 1,108 regular season games and logged over 37,000 minutes during his NBA career.

So, what is Iguodala's secret to being so nimble after all this years? Genes and a good diet.

“Honestly, this is just a personal opinion, just got really good genes,” Iguodala said, via Drew Shiller of NBC Sports Bay Area. “Got really good genes, but protecting the genes at the same time.

“Watching what you put in the body. Sleep. I drink a lot of water. I don't drink anything but water — played a big role. I have philosophies on what the body needs and it's helping me. That's just my personal thing.”

Iguodala averaged only 5.7 points per game during the regular season, but he's more valuable during the playoffs at this stage of his career.

Iggy is putting up 11.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.3 assists for the Warriors in the 2019 postseason. He's shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 37.9 percent from beyond the arc.

Golden State is up 2-0 against the Houston Rockets in the second round. Iguodala finished with 16 points, five rebounds and four assists in the Warriors' Game 2 win.
