The ring hasn't been friendly with Draymond Green in the postseason. Whenever he gets a chance to posterize a foe, it's the Golden State Warriors forward who ends up being posterized via a block.

According to ESPN Stats & Info, Green has been blocked on four dunk attempts in the playoffs.

It's a discouraging statistic for Green. He's not really known for his offensive ability. So whenever he gets an open dunk or a chance to posterize someone, anxiousness and giddiness get the best of him. And the result is not pretty. He either gets rejected by a hand or by the rim. Maybe Green needs to calm down?

But Green need not worry about this nuisance statistic. He contribution on the court extends further than points. He was recently named to the All-NBA Defensive Second Team. That highlight alone will erase his four missed dunks.

As reported by Melissa Rohlin of The Mercury News, Green joked about being pissed on receiving the honor:

“Pissed,” Green joked, before putting on his diplomat hat. “Nah, it’s an honor to make All-Defensive teams, All-NBA teams, All-Rookie teams. It’s an honor. It’s such a great league with great talent. A lot of guys are good on the defensive end, so to be one of the 10 guys named to the All-Defensive team is great.”

Head coach Steve Kerr was all praise for his player:

“If you asked every coach in the league, ‘You could have any five defenders you want,’ I guarantee you Draymond would be one of those five,” Kerr said. “The fact that he didn’t end up on the first team, stuff like that happens all the time.
