The Golden State Warriors went through a highly publicized mess in November when All-Star forwards Kevin Durant and Draymond Green got into a shouting match that had to be broken up after a loss.

The bitterness between the two continued for a few games, and the Warriors faltered. Rumors spread that this would spell the end of the Golden State dynasty.

Now, those rumors are in the past. In an interview with ESPN's Nick Friedell, Green promised that whatever happened between the two players has been forgotten:

“I know the hope is that [incident] will make us fall off, but it ain't. It'll never happen like that. We good.

“We sat down and rapped. And that's it. It ain't really about re-creating the wheel. Brothers get into it all the time. Y'all sit down and y'all figure it out, ain't nobody else going to figure it out for you. Can't nobody else figure it out for you. We sit down as men, we figure it out and we move forward.”

Green is right in saying that squabbles like this among teams happen frequently. However, when you're the Golden State Warriors and the two players are All-Stars, things get blown out of proportion in the media.

If Green is being truthful, it seems like the Warriors will do just fine down the stretch. They are currently 22-11, good enough for the third seed in the Western Conference, even after all the drama. With a healthy DeMarcus Cousins coming soon, the team will look to go back to its dominant ways of the past.
