Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green says he feels like a rookie again.
There's a lot of “new” with the Warriors right now. They're playing in San Francisco instead of Oakland and the roster is different from the past few seasons.
Draymond on move to SF and all the new players in camp: “I feel like a rookie all over again … I haven’t felt like a rookie in a while.”

Green may feel like a rookie, but he's not getting paid like one.

The All-Star signed a $100 million extension with the Warriors this offseason. Green reportedly has nearly $50 million in advance payments in his new contract. He can thank his agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, for that.
Green could have waited to become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2020 and signed a more lucrative deal. The three-time champion signed a five-year, $82 million contract with the Warriors as a restricted free agent in 2015.
Green will make $18.5 million this season. His new contracts kicks in during the 2020-21 season. The three-time champion averaged 7.4 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.9 assists last season for the Warriors while shooting 44.5 percent from the field, 28.5 percent from beyond the arc and 69.2 percent from the free-throw line.
The Warriors have $129 million and $138 million committed to their four max players of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, D’Angelo Russell and Green for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, respectively. The franchise is hoping the new Dubs core can deliver banner number four this season, although it's unclear when Thompson will return from his ACL injury.
