The Golden State Warriors were in high spirits after clinching their fifth straight NBA Finals appearance. The team had just pulled off a nail-biting overtime victory against the Portland Trail Blazers, and the players seemed carefree and joyous. Forward Draymond Green was so pleased with the Finals appearance that he offered a reporter tickets to the event during his postgame interview:20

The reporter was taken aback by the generosity and promised Green to find him later and pay for his own hotel.
While Green might be a nice guy in his postgame interviews, he is a fierce and emotional competitor on the court. He recorded a triple-double of 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 14 assists to help his team sweep the Blazers.
Article Continues BelowGreen did it all on the court in Game 4, as his stat line shows. Per usual, he seemed to constantly be in full gear, leading relentless fast breaks and finding teammates with uncanny accuracy.
He even nailed a rare three-pointer in overtime, increasing a one-point lead to four with only 40 seconds left in overtime.
Without Durant, Green took on a larger role with ease and ensured that the Warriors would proceed even without their best scorer.
Now, the tenacious defender and hustler will focus on the Eastern Conference Finals. Within weeks, he will surely get a personal matchup with either Giannis Antetokounmpo or Kawhi Leonard, two of the best in the game.
