Skip Bayless is arguably the biggest LeBron James hater on the entire planet. Recently, though, the FOX Sports broadcaster decided to set aside his LeBron slander for a little bit to turn his attention to Golden State Warriors superstar Draymond Green. Being the LeBron-hater that he is, however, Bayless still couldn't take his shot at Dray without dragging James into the conversation.

In the recent episode of The Skip Bayless Show, the renowned sports analyst clapped back at Hall of Famer turned NBA on TNT analyst Charles Barkley. More on that later, though. In his lengthy rant, Bayless decided to throw shade at Green as well, clapping back at the Warriors star for supposedly firing the first shot:

“Draymond also took a shot at me concerning my criticism of LeBron,” Skip said, via FOX Sports. “Well, wait a second — what was the turning point of the 2016 Finals? When Golden State was up 3-1? What happened in Game 4, Draymond? You got mad at LeBron, you screamed at him and called him a ‘b—-.’

“In the competitive world, man-to-man, you can’t really degrade a man much more than to call him a ‘b—-.’’

Bayless had to turn back the clock by six years to make his point against Draymond Green. Skip ran it all the way back to the 2016 NBA Finals between the Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers when Green's rivalry with LeBron was arguably at its peak.

It appears that there is some truth to Bayless' claim, however. Back in 2016, it was reportedly LeBron himself who claimed that Green called him the “b word” in Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals. This supposedly infuriated James and it could have been one of the factors behind the Cavs' historic come-from-behind series victory. After that incident, LeBron and Co. ended up taking the next three games to upset the 73-9 Warriors in the Finals.

For Bayless, this served as his ultimate weapon against Draymond Green. Skip conveniently looked back at this particular incident six years ago to remind Dray (and the rest of us) that Green is (or used to be) a LeBron hater too. In his mind, Bayless seems to think that this does not give Green the right to go at him for criticizing James.

Honestly speaking, I don't think that makes much sense.

As promised, we then circle back to why Bayless went on this all-out tirade in the first place. Green was just a vicious sideswipe as it was actually Charles Barkley that was in Skip's crosshairs. Bayless was playing the victim card here as he put forth a dumbfounded attitude towards Barkley's relentlessness against him:

“This 15-year onslaught has amazed me, it has amused me, but it has always confounded me because for the life of me, I have no idea why exactly Charles wants to [hurt] me,” Bayless said. “… I don’t know Charles Barkley. I’ve never had a single conversation with Charles Barkley.”

Bayless went on to say how he suspects that Barkley is just “jealous” of him and that Sir Charles “wishes he had thought of [Bayless' hot takes] and that he could say that on TV.” What I can say for sure is that Skip Bayless is something else. I'm also very interested to hear what Charles Barkley has to say in response to this. Chuck is no saint and it's not likely that he's going to let this pass.
