The Golden State Warriors sure can pass.
In Saturday's win against the L.A. Clippers, the Warriors passed the ball efficiently and often en route to 31 assists. It was the 25th time this season that Golden State has amassed 30 or more assists, per Basketball Reference.
That number may sound high, but it's part of the course for the Warriors over the last five years. Since 2013-14, the Warriors have led the league with 30 or more assists.
In fact, last season, the Warriors had 50 such games in the regular season. Almost halfway through this season the Warriors already have 25, which could mean the Warriors are on pace to break their own record of last year.

For those that watch the Warriors on a regular basis, it's widely known that the team is at its best when the ball zips around and finds the open man. It can be argued that other than the San Antonio Spurs, there is no team in the NBA that comes close to comparing to Golden State in regards to passing.
One would think that with so many talented players — especially one as talented as Kevin Durant — the Warriors would have a great deal of trouble finding shots for all of them. But the Warriors are different in that they have bought into Steve Kerr's philosophies, and genuinely love seeing their teammates score.
If that weren't the case, this team would hardly ever pass. And it's plain to see that if the Warriors have an off night moving the ball, they generally don't play very well.
