Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant made even more of a name for himself in last year's NBA Finals when he made a big 3-pointer to seal Game 3, and eventually his first title.
So when the Warriors visited the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night, it would make sense that moment would pop into Durant's mind from time to time. But Durant says that part of his career is over, per Michael Lee of Yahoo! Sports.

“It’s over, bro. It’s over. It means nothing to me no more,” Durant told Yahoo Sports about the shot. “It’s a good memory for me to have, but I’m not thinking about that when I come in here. How long ago was that? It’s time to move on. You appreciate the memories you have in this building, but you don’t think about it anymore.”
That shot, while definitely career-defining for Durant, was last season. In 2017. During the summer. With so much time having passed since that one moment, Durant probably no longer needs to look back on it.
He has proven that he only wants to win. With that mentality comes the attitude that what's past is past, and the only thing that matters is what comes next. Durant and the Warriors are solely focused on this season, and trying to win back-to-back titles.
For Durant and the Warriors to get there, memories of shots in last year's Finals are irrelevant.
