Klay Thompson of the Golden State Warriors will be launching a designer bag line.
As reported by TMZ, the Warriors sharpshooting guard partnered with Prime Society to create the “Championship Collection,” which features backpacks, duffle bags, toiletry bags, mini backpacks, wallets, and a cardholder. Prices are expected to average around $500.
This is yet another business investment by Thompson. Last year, he partnered with Built With Chocolate Milk. He shared that his moves are an effort to stay relevant after his life in basketball. As per AJ Neuharth-Keusch of USA TODAY Sports, Thompson said:

“I still want to have some presence when I'm done playing, in hopefully 12-15 years, and still do business outside of basketball when the ball stops bouncing for me,” Thompson told USA TODAY Sports. ” … Steph is going to be in this game for a long time. He's a fun player to watch, such a great personality. I just try to learn from what he's done so well to get all these great brands. I'm trying to do the same. I'm trying to capitalize on our success with the Warriors and the fan love we get right now, just try to recreate that down the line.”
With his third ring just one win away, Thompson will definitely get more opportunities outside of basketball. Everything looks good for Klay because who wouldn't want a champion to be part of their business?
