The Golden State Warriors dropped Game 3 of their second-round Western Conference playoff series against the Houston Rockets this past Saturday, falling by a score of 126-121 in overtime.
The Warriors still hold a 2-1 lead in the series, but perhaps if some Golden State players other than Kevin Durant, who dropped 46 points in the Game 3 loss, would have had better games, the Dubs would be going for the sweep on Monday night.
A clear culprit of the Warriors' defeat was Stephen Curry, who scored 17 points while shooting just 7-of-23 from the floor and 2-of-9 from three-point range.
To be fair, Curry has had ankle issues this series and is playing with a dislocated finger on his non-shooting hand, but that has not stopped the two-time MVP from being on the receiving end of ire from the media.

Among those critics is Fox Sports analyst Skip Bayless, who ripped Curry for his lackluster performance, going as far to say that he may have been a little envious of Durant's outing.
“Steph Curry got in Kevin Durant's way,” Bayless said on Undisputed. “It looked like he was getting a little threatened by what Kevin Durant was doing. … Have you ever seen MVP-like performances from Steph in the postseason? He has three rings, and how many MVPs in the Finals? How about zero.”
Golden State has won three championships since 2015, with Andre Iguodala taking home Finals MVP honors during the first title run and Durant capturing the award in back-to-back years in 2017 and 2018.
Of course, Bayless is just taking a shot in the dark here, as there is absolutely no indication that Curry is jealous of his teammate.
