Stephen Curry's status for tonight against the Orlando Magic is still in flux, as it appears his thigh contusion could be more than just a dead leg.
The Golden State Warriors had two-way signee Quinn Cook in practice, who can fill in for Curry if he is to sit out during the last home game of the week tonight, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic.
Curry injured his thigh during the opening moments of Saturday's matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, bumping into a screen and requiring an early trip to the sidelines for some treatment. The Warriors' floor general managed 22 points before taking a permanent seat during the fourth quarter as Golden State coasted to a 135-114 win over the Sixers.
An early-week absence for Curry could spell the first start of the season for the newly re-signed Shaun Livingston, who would likely get the nod at the point if he sits out.

The Warriors have coasted to six straight wins after falling to the Detroit Pistons in a turnover extravaganza — now winning nine of their last 10 games. They will take a four-game road trip to follow, including a back-to-back affair against the Sixers and the Brooklyn Nets over the weekend.
