The Golden State Warriors have yet to completely iron things out after the first few weeks of the season. The team hasn't honed their true identity on the floor as a unit and players have yet firmly established themselves in their respective roles, according to head coach Steve Kerr.
After absorbing another loss against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night, Kerr mentioned that he will need guys to step up in order for the team to finally gain momentum and consistency in their coming games.

Through their first 19 games of the season, it was evident how heavily the Warriors leaned on the production of their two-time NBA MVP in Stephen Curry. Apart from him, no one else can consistently produce on offense, which allows the opposing defenses to easily contain their attacks.
Their glaring weakness showed once again on Thursday night against the Suns when Stephen Curry led the team with 27 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Andrew Wiggins contributed 16 points while Eric Paschall produced 12 points off the bench with their other teammates being limited to tally measly outputs.
The Warriors never had enough to keep up with the more dynamic offense of the Suns bannered by the 20-point output of Mikal Bridges. Apart from him, six other Suns players also scored in double-digits en route to grab the 114-93 victory.
With a 10-9 record, the Warriors are currently settling in the ninth spot of the Western Conference and will need to find a way to turn things around in the coming weeks. Head coach Steve Kerr is expecting to get more from his other players as they aim for a win when they host the struggling Detroit Pistons on Jan. 30.
