The Golden State Warriors have been in the playoffs before. In fact, they are looking for their fourth title in five seasons, with a largely consistent core of All-Star talent. However, this is uncharted territory for DeMarcus Cousins, having missed the postseason in any of his eight seasons prior to joining Golden State.
Now, Boogie is relishing the opportunity to play in the postseason for the first time, and he's ready to make his mark.
He has already knocked out his first playoff milestone in Game One against the Los Angeles Clippers, and that is scoring his first ever career playoff points.

Early in the first quarter with the Warriors still looking to get on the board, star point guard Stephen Curry drove towards the hoop. He made a nice pass to DeMarcus Cousins under the basket, who turned and threw down the easy slam.
Cousins, a four-time All-Star, spent time with the Sacramento Kings and New Orleans Pelicans before joining the Warriors this 2018-19 campaign. He spent the first half of the season rehabbing from an Achilles injury but returned to play in 30 regular season games. The 28-year-old averaged 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists. While far from his best season, he was still very good and strengthened an already formidable Golden State squad.
The first-seeded Warriors are heavily favored over the eighth-seeded Clippers in their first round playoff match-up. But the Clips are still a good team, and for the Dubs to come out on top, Cousins will need to contribute. Luckily for the team, he looks like he's already doing so.
