NBA Hall of Fame forward and TNT analyst Charles Barkley claims Houston Rockets superstar guard James Harden is the best one-on-one player he's ever seen.
Barkley still ranks Chicago Bulls icon Michael Jordan and Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant ahead of Harden, but Chuck is taking the Rockets star over Jordan and Bryant when it comes to shooting the 3-ball.
Charles Barkley: “James Harden is the best 1-on-1 player I’ve ever seen in my life.”

James Harden has led the NBA in scoring the past three seasons. The former MVP put up 34.3 points per game during the 2019-20 regular season. He also shot 44.4 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from beyond the arc and 86.5 percent from the free throw line.

Against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Rockets' first playoff game in 2020, Harden poured in 37 points in 34 minutes. Houston played without Russell Westbrook, who is dealing with a quad injury in Houston's Game 1 victory.
Everyone knows Harden is an all-time great. Pundits just want The Beard to put it all together in the postseason and lead the Rockets to a championship. Houston hasn't been to the Finals in the Harden era since acquiring the lefty from the Thunder before the start of the 2012-13 season.
The Rockets are expected to defeat the Thunder in the first round. The main challenge for Houston will be in the later rounds once the competition gets tougher.
