Following Thursday night's 106-103 road victory over the Sacramento Kings, a fan asked Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo to sign a jersey that he brought to the game — a Pacers jersey with Paul George's name and number.

Staying true to his classy persona, Oladipo obliged.

As most hoops fans know, Oladipo and George were part of a trade between the Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder in June of last year. George was to be dealt with the Oklahoma City Thunder. In return, the Pacers received Oladipo and forward Domantas Sabonis.

“Dipo,” as he's come to be known, has played well for the Pacers thus far. In 70 appearances with his new team, the former No. 2 overall pick (2013) has racked up averages of 23.2 points on 47.1 percent shooting from the field (36.4 percent from beyond the arc), 5.3 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and a career-high 2.3 steals per game.

Oladipo logged 36 minutes in Thursday night's win, scoring 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the field, five rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block. 13 of his 24 points came in the fourth quarter, including a pair of free throws with 2.5 seconds remaining.

“I just got in my spots and I was effective. That was it,” Oladipo told ESPN following Thursday's game. “I was worried about just being aggressive, getting to my spots and making the right play.”

The Pacers — now the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference standings with a 45-31 overall record — will be back in action on Sunday, as they're scheduled to face the L.A. Clippers inside the Staples Center at 3:30 p.m. EST.
