At long last, Los Angeles Lakers rookie point guard Lonzo Ball finally made his return to game action on Friday night after missing 15 straight contests with a sprained MCL. Following the team's 124-102 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at Staples Center, Lonzo met with members of the media in front of his locker while wearing a t-shirt with an image of himself on it.

A brief video tweeted by sports reporter Shanan Ahmed of NBC Los Angeles, which gets a good look at the shirt under Lonzo's jacket from top to bottom, can be viewed below.

When it comes to making a triumphant return to the court the Big Baller way, Lonzo certainly passed with flying colors. Although he did not see much action coming off the bench, the 20-year-old rookie point guard had all nine of his point scored in the first half on 3-for-6 shooting from behind the arc, seven rebounds and six assists in only 17 minutes of action against the Mavs.

In his postgame presser with reporters, Lonzo opened up to Lakers reporter Mike Bresnahan of Spectrum SportsNet about how his knee felt in his first game back since mid-January.

“I feel pretty good, only played 17 minutes tonight so nothing crazy out there,” Ball said after the game. “Nothing restricting. I could feel it, but the doc says I can get no worse. Just sliding a little bit, especially going right. Other than that, it was OK.”

Lakers head coach Luke Walton already ruled his rookie point guard out for Saturday night's game against the Sacramento Kings on the second night of a back-to-back.
