The Golden State Warriors' public relations department had a bit of fun messing with former assistant coach and now Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton prior to the game, handing out a list of the Warriors' interim coaches.

The list featured only two names — Walton's and Mike Brown's — putting the latter at the top with his undefeated 12-0 mark through last year's postseason.

Got him!

Luke Walton's 39-4 win-loss record cracked the 90 percentile, but didn't reach the perfection Mike Brown had mustered through his short, yet critical run as the helmsman of this team.

Yet, it was the then-35-year-old coach who guided the Warriors through the first half of the campaign which concluded as the winningest regular season in NBA history at 73-9.

That stretch helped Walton secure a job with his hometown Lakers right as the playoffs started, getting plenty of exposure as the league put all eyes on the Warriors' incredible streak to start the season after a championship run in 2014-15.

This greeting garnered plenty of responses from Twitter, who had a blast at the irony of the PR department's sense of humor.

Luke Walton has emulated the Warriors' style of offense and molded it to fit his young Lakers team, boasting resemblance to a free-flowing offense with an abundance of passing flair.
