ESPN announced on Thursday that Los Angeles Lakers legendary retired shooting guard Kobe Bryant will debut his new basketball analysis show, Detail, on April 12 exclusively on the network's new direct-to-consumer subscription streaming service called ESPN+.

Via an article written today by Gianina Thompson of ESPN:

Detail, which is written, produced and hosted by the Academy Award-winning Bryant, will feature his high-level analysis and insights as he breaks down games throughout the 2018 NBA Playoffs, including the NBA Finals. Bryant will provide in-depth observations from the standpoint of a current NBA player in a game featured on ESPN or ABC,” Thompson said.

The series premiere episode on April 12 will feature the five-time NBA champion breaking down Game 6 of the 2009 Western Conference Finals when the Lakers went on the road to face the Denver Nuggets. On April 15, the second episode of the ESPN+ series will debut that night following one of the first round playoff games.
