On Tuesday night, it was a tale of two halves for the Los Angeles Lakers (8-10) in their 103-94 victory over the Chicago Bulls (3-12) at Staples Center.
This was especially true for Lakers power forward Julius Randle, who was held scoreless in the first half and was on the wrong end of Bulls rookie guard Antonio Blakeney's breakaway poster dunk.

Luckily for Randle, Blakeney was issued a technical for taunting and the Lakers flipped a switch in the third quarter after they trailed by as many as 19 points.

However, Julius Randle was not going to have any of that, as he emphatically blocked Portis' dunk attempt and hustled to make an and-one layup at the other end of the floor.

After the game, Randle attributed the win to a strong defensive effort. Lakers head coach Luke Walton was also quick to praise Randle's play, along with Josh Hart's, off the bench.
All of Julius Randle's points were scored in the second half en route to a double-double effort with 10 points, 10 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two assists in 28 minutes of action. Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma led all scorers with 22 points and five assists while shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope lighted up the boxscore with 21 points, nine boards, four assists, and three steals on the night.
