Holy smokes. That actually happened. On Monday night at Staples Center, Los Angeles Lakers forward Larry Nance Jr. put forth a dunk of the year candidate when he threw down a vicious one-handed dunk over Golden State Warriors superstar forward Kevin Durant.

In a video posted to Bleacher Report's official Twitter account, Nance Jr.'s posterization of Durant can be viewed below in all of its glory.

Not only did this dunk make pretty much everyone in the arena go absolutely nuts, the Lakers' bench can be seen in the background losing their minds and rightfully so. This wasn't even the first or second time Durant was dunked on in the first half, as Lakers forward Julius Randle and guard Jordan Clarkson both got in on the fun.

However, the Lakers trailed the Warriors 57-53 at the half but seemed to have all the momentum when the second quarter buzzer sounded. At halftime, the Lakers retired both of legendary shooting guard Kobe Bryant's jerseys in No. 8 and No. 24 to the rafters of Staples Center amongst the other greats of the franchise.
