The Oklahoma City Thunder managed to get back to .500 with a clutch 95-94 victory over the Denver Nuggets on Monday night. However, the performance from their “Big 3” in this one hardly inspired any hope of their star-studded lineup finally getting acclimated with one another.

As a result, the negative speculation surrounding the Thunder continues to swirl. One anonymous Western Conference executive even referred to the situation in Oklahoma City as a “three-man circus”, according to Ken Berger of Bleacher Report

“It's a three-man circus,” a Western Conference executive said. “They don't play well together. There's no ball movement, no chemistry. You can tell by watching them play, it's out of sync. There's no rhyme or rhythm to how they play.”

The exec added that superstar forward Paul George has been the biggest casualty of their struggles this year.

“George has got to be frustrated,” the executive said. “You can tell by the way he's playing. He's not playing with any enthusiasm, not playing with any spunk. He's kind of playing like a second or third wheel out there.”

As great a player as superstar point guard Russell Westbrook is, George certainly has the best overall skill set on the team as a guy who can do pretty much everything. However, his performance has taken a hit trying to pick up the scraps from Westbrook and superstar forward Carmelo Anthony, which has ultimately resulted in an influx of rumors regarding his future with the Thunder.

Meanwhile, Anthony has undoubtedly received the most criticism for Oklahoma City's struggles thus far. However, it is evident that their problems go far beyond any single player.
