The Los Angeles Lakers have the luxury of holding the second overall pick in next month's draft that could seemingly put them in the position to add UCLA point guard Lonzo Ball.
There has been much chatter surrounding the potential that Ball as an NBA player that has drawn some comparisons to Jason Kidd. In light of that, former Lakers great James Worthy believes that the 19-year-old possesses some of the passing ability of fellow Hall of Famer Magic Johnson.

This is a huge amount of praise toward Ball from Worthy that shows what he believes he can develop into behind his passing. In his lone season at UCLA, Ball put that on full display leading the nation with 7.6 assists per game and broke the school's single-season record with 274 assists.
The Lakers appear to be high on him, with numerous reports stating that they hold some significant interest in taking him at the second overall selection. They are expected to schedule a workout with Ball in the coming days in order to get a closer look at him.
If Ball meets this huge level of expectations, he could play a huge part in helping turn around the franchise that has now missed the playoffs in four straight seasons, which is the longest stretch in team history.
