Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has been in offseason mode for quite some time now. But that didn't stop Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey from bringing him up again while watching the NBA postseason.

Ramsey reacted to Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets getting eliminated in Game 7 against the Milwaukee Bucks, comparing them to the eliminated Lakers star:

While Ramsey tried to downplay his comparison with a disclaimer, it's hard not to read into his message as a hot take. The Rams star clearly took a shot at Kevin Durant's inability to perform at the level that his Lakers counterpart had done when they were still in opposite conferences.

Whether or not the criticism has merit, it's tough to hate on the performance that Kevin Durant put on in Game 7, and for the entire series for that matter. The Nets were ravaged by injuries, just like the Lakers were, but KD carried his team as far as he could possibly take them. Durant put forth one of the best playoff performances of all time in Game 5 and then scored a record 48 points in Game 7.

I don't know about you, or Jalen Ramsey, but that seems pretty reminiscent of LeBron James to me.
