Anthony Davis is excited to reunite with DeMarcus Cousins on the Los Angeles Lakers.

Davis and Cousins were teammates on the New Orleans Pelicans. The two stars were lethal together, but their partnership was cut short after Cousins tore his Achilles tendon during the 2017-18 season. The Pelicans decided not to re-sign Boogie, who joined the Golden State Warriors last offseason.

The Lakers' projected starting lineup next season is LeBron James, Danny Green, Kyle Kuzma, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. LeBron and Davis are two of the best players in the world, Green is a sniper from beyond the arc, Kuzma is an up-and-coming scoring forward and Cousins is a former All-Star who wants to remind everyone he's still an elite center in the game when he's healthy.

The Lakers signed Cousins to a one-year, $3.5 million contract. LA is envisioning a low risk, high reward scenario with Cousins, who averaged 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists while shooting 48.0 percent from the field, 27.4 percent from beyond the arc and 73.6 percent from the free-throw line this past season with the Warriors.

It's going to be fun to watch Davis and Cousins play together on the Lakers. Laker fans are hoping AD and Boogie can stay healthy and lead the LakeShow to its 17th championship.
