Dwight Howard is not well-liked by Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal. He knows it. You know it. Everyone knows it.

So when O'Neal took a shot at Howard on Twitter following a brief back-and-forth with Bryant, no one was really surprised.

However, Howard doesn't seem to be bothered by it.

At an introductory press conference with the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, Howard had this to say about the two Lakers legends:

“Shaq and Kobe are some of the greatest players to ever play the game of basketball,” said Howard, per Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints. “I have nothing but love and respect for those guys.”

It's probably safe to say O'Neal and Bryant don't feel the same way.

While Dwight and Shaq were never teammates, O'Neal's hatred of Howard dates all the way back to Dwight's days with the Orlando Magic, when his “Superman” nickname began to irk O'Neal.

Ever since then, Shaq has never wasted an opportunity to criticize Howard.

As for Bryant, he and Howard were teammates with the Lakers back during the 2012-13 campaign and never really got along. After that season, Howard signed with the Houston Rockets. From that point forward, the two clearly had a disdain for one another, with more of the dislike coming from Kobe's side than Dwight's.

But now, Howard is back for his second go-around with the Lakers, and he is obviously hoping it goes a bit better than his first stint. Perhaps he and Bryant can repair their relationship. Shaq? That's probably another story.
