The Los Angeles Lakers were just eliminated in six games by the Phoenix Suns. While that result comes as a shock to most NBA observers, probably nobody was more stunned than LeBron James himself.
After the final buzzer sounded, fans took note of the Lakers star appearing to leave the playing court without dapping up long-time friend Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and the rest of the Phoenix Suns.

The Lakers' ouster was definitely a sobering one for LeBron James. He's fallen short in the NBA Finals, the grandest stage of them all, numerous times. But after going 14-0 in first round matchups, he couldn't muster enough juice to take down the two-seeded Suns. This is uncharted territory for him.
That's probably why he was in no mood to shake hands and exchange pleasantries just yet. But it's also entirely possible that the cameras just missed a congratulatory gesture from the Lakers star. He might not have posed for a picturesque moment with a hug and all that, but there might have been contact that was much more subtle for us to see.
The Lakers have some serious retooling to do this offseason as LeBron James and Anthony Davis run it back against next season.
