On Christmas day, the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers faced off in the Staples Center. This matchup was something many fans were looking forward to, considering that there's a good chance the two teams would meet in the playoffs.
Unfortunately, LeBron James heard something pop in his lower body during the game. He ended up leaving the court and was diagnosed with a mild left groin strain.
Ironically enough, an arena worker showed him the wrong way to the visitors' locker room. Whether is was premeditated or a mistake, LeBron James thought the whole ordeal was very funny.
“Yeah, [an arena worker] told me to go that way. They made me take the long route. I know what they were doing,” James told Yahoo Sports while laughing.

Ever since the Lakers' slow start to the season, they've picked up their game and played very well around James. With the addition of Tyson Chandler, James now doesn't need to worry about playing the role of rim protector in the slightest. JaVale McGee stepping up to play positive minutes as a rim-runner has also helped.
Kyle Kuzma has evolved his game as an overall player while Lonzo Ball is playing some of the best defense in the backcourt. The Laker's young core is developing and proving themselves to be a formidable force.
The Lakers are now 20-14 on the season and sit fourth in the NBA's Western Conference under head coach Luke Walton. They will play the Sacramento Kings next on Thursday at home.
