Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is clearly hyped for his new Big 3 squad with Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook.

After the Lakers tweeted a photo of the three together–with Westbrook showcasing his jersey number with the team–LeBron couldn't help but share his excitement on their partnership. While he didn't write anything as he quote-tweeted the photo, the emojis he used were more than enough to show what he truly feels about the new-look Purple and Gold.

The Lakers acquired Russell Westbrook during the 2021 NBA Draft night, sending Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Montrezl Harrell to the Washington Wizards in the process. LA also gave away the no. 22 pick in the draft while getting two future second-rounders in return.

While there are still questions how they would play together and what roles they would take, the acquisition instantly propelled the Lakers as one of the favorites to win it all in 2021-22. After all, Westbrook is still a former MVP who can pile up the numbers when he wants to.

Aside from Westbrook, LeBron James has every reason to be happy with the Lakers. His good friend Carmelo Anthony also signed a one-year deal with the team, and Rob Pelinka and Co. have added the likes of Dwight Howard, Wayne Ellington, Trevor Ariza, Kent Bazemore, Kendrick Nunn and Malik Monk.

Moreover, the Purple and Gold franchise re-signed Talen Horton-Tucker long-term, assuring they have more depth and talent come the 2021-22 season.

With LeBron still leading the way, there are definitely plenty of reasons to be excited about LA.
