LeBron James had time to give a pair of his Nike LeBron 17s away to a couple of young Utah Jazz fans clamoring for them, swiftly signing them and giving them to the kids who made the trip down to courtside to ask for them.

James had an efficient 20-point, 12-assist outing in a 25-point demolition of the Jazz on Wednesday, giving him plenty of time to enjoy on the bench in the fourth quarter. Fans were glad James gave his kicks to kids from an upper row instead of the usual fortunate ones that sit courtside, something they're likely to treasure for years.

This sneakers giveaway was what preceded the infamous jumping on the court with no shoes on that the Jazz announcers complained about. The announcers weren't complaining about the lack of shoes as much as they were about James stepping well into the court to cheer on his teammates — something clearly listed as a violation in the NBA rulebook.

The Los Angeles Lakers have enjoyed a swift turnaround from last season, now sporting a 19-3 record and giving James plenty of opportunities to connect with fans with his team smoking though the Western Conference at this pace.
