Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is unquestionably one of the most iconic players in the NBA today. As a matter of fact, he will definitely go down in history as one of the most influential personalities in the history of sports.
This is why it is not surprising to find out that LeBron's high school jersey is expected to go for well over $300,000 at an upcoming high-stakes auction. This is no ordinary jersey, though, as this was the exact one James was wearing when he made the cover of Sports Illustrated back in 2002 as a junior at St. Vincent-St. Mary high school.
TMZ Sports learned that collectors are now looking to go all out for this historic piece of basketball memorabilia once it is made available at the auction.

Ken Goldin tells us he expects the jersey — which was given by LeBron to a long-time friend who held onto it 'til now — could sell for mid-six figures (think 300k, 400k, $500k+).

Then again, Goldin Auctions appeared to have placed a monetary value on the jersey, and it's certainly not for the faint of heart.
