The Los Angeles Lakers have the fourth pick in the 2019 NBA Draft and LeBron James thought it was ‘beautiful.'

Via Twitter, James sent out his reaction upon knowing that the Lakers got the fourth overall pick in the upcoming draft.

There are no rumors as to what the Lakers will do with the lottery pick just yet. Will they trade it? Or will they choose to select another top-caliber prospect and make him an intrinsic part of a championship team? Who knows?

While there is no doubt that the prospect they'll pick will have great upside, the Lakers might be concerned about the situation given that they are in a win-now mode — which makes getting veterans and instant contributors the priority rather than developing young players. There's a good possibility, too, that the rookie will evolve quickly. Either way, the Purple and Gold have more than enough young guns who are still learning the ropes of the NBA style of play.

James will enter the second year of his four-year contract with the Lakers in the 2019-20 season. They were willing to sacrifice the first year to gauge whether their current crop has what it takes to be a contender. After a tough season, it was evident that changes had to be made.

In any event, Los Angeles is in a pretty good position so far. Once the offseason starts, we should expect Jeanie Buss and the front office to make aggressive moves with hopes of building a championship contender.
