We've all heard this story before. LeBron James is somehow defying time as he continues to be one of the most dominant forces in all of the NBA at the age of 36. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar is actually going to be 37 this season, but at this point, it is clear that he's not slowing down.

LeBron and his Lakers had a forgettable 2020-21 campaign, and based on his latest Instagram post, The King is more than ready to put that behind him as he looks forward to what he is hoping will be a redemption run in his 19th season in the league:

James couldn't help but take a shot at his doubters too, with the all too familiar #WashedKing hashtag making an appearance yet again in his caption. After what he's done over the past few years, however, it seems like the naysayers are dwindling in numbers. Then again, maybe not. LeBron James could not care any less either way.

LeBron also took this opportunity to promote the 19th rendition of his signature shoe line with Nike. The LeBron 19s are looking as fresh as ever and much like James himself, this collection has aged like fine wine.

As he indicated in his message above, James is extremely excited to get back on the basketball court. He's going to be entering the new season with a new-look Lakers squad behind him, so we should be in store for something special from The King and Co. this coming season.
