The Los Angeles Lakers will be having Talen Horton-Tucker and veteran center Dwight Howard back on their squad.

After being placed in health and safety protocols last week, Lakers stars Dwight Howard and Talen Horton-Tucker have now been “cleared,” per ESPN's Dave McMenamin.

It is yet to be known whether the pair will already be officially back on the Lakers lineup that will take on the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday. However, one thing certain at the moment is that Los Angeles will be needing Howard and Horton-Tucker's services.

The Lakers are coming off back-to-back losses against the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Chicago Bulls, respectively. Even worse, All-Star big man Anthony Davis suffered a scary knee injury during the loss against the T-Wolves.

“AD, he’ll be back and we want him to get back healthy so we can have our full team. But until then, we’ve got to hold it down,” Westbrook said via The Los Angeles Times. “It’s tough.”

While being thrilled with the Lakers' mentality, substitute head coach David Fizdale could not emphasize more the need for the key players to return.

“We came into it understanding that these are not normal circumstances,” Fizdale said. “And everybody wrapped their mind around it coming into the game. You had a backup coach, we had a G League guy out there, a couple G League guys. But you know, the thing about this team’s character is it’s just a next-man-up mentality and they really brought the effort and a collective team energy.”

As it stands, the Lakers are still waiting for Malik Monk to be cleared as well, having placed in health and safety protocols alongside Howard.
