TMZ released an audio recording of a recent phone call between West and a man she alleges is Cousins. Cousins wanted their 7-year-old son to attend his wedding to Morgan Lang in Atlanta, and when West refused, the NBA star allegedly threatened to kill her:

West has filed court documents in Alabama seeking a restraining order against Cousins. These documents include a claim that Cousins choked her during a previous incident. She also went to the Mobile Police Dept. and filed a report with police. While West filed a restraining order, she's open to supervised visitation.
Cousins hasn't yet commented on this allegation. He appeared to be in good spirits at his wedding over the weekend, even participating in some light dancing despite his torn ACL.
The 29-year-old big man has dealt with a lot of injury issues in recent years. He tore his Achilles in early 2018, then tore his quad at the beginning of this year's playoffs, and he just recently tore his ACL after signing with the Lakers this summer.
Now, Cousins is also embroiled in this off-the-court issue.
