It was bound to happen, but LeBron James finally passed Kobe Bryant on the all-time scoring list. Magic Johnson was delighted that the Los Angeles Lakers forward achieved this feat while wearing a Lakers uniform.
The former Lakers President of Basketball Operations took to Twitter to congratulate the man he helped bring to the Staples Center.

Kobe Bryant stood third of the all-time scoring list with 33,643 points. James only needed 17 points to take The Black Mamba's spot, and he did that against the Philadelphia 76ers with ease. He finished with 29 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, and a steal in 35 minutes of action and 50% shooting on the court. However, the undermanned Sixers still managed to get the dub over the Purple and Gold as Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris were able to do whatever they pleased on the field.
Article Continues BelowIt's been a mesmerizing couple of years for LeBron James. He continues to defy all basketball logic as he's still a dominant player at the age of 35 years. He's averaged 26.9 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 9.3 assists on 52% shooting over the past three seasons. He's one of the reasons why the Lakers suddenly accelerated their rebuild and are now in another championship window.
His performance over the past couple of years helped him eclipse his biggest idol, Michael Jordan. With the rate he's playing, he should be able to come close to Karl Malone's spot in the scoring list. He might even be able to threaten Kareem Abdul-Jabar's record and end his career at the top of the all-time scoring list.
It may seem impossible at first, but James has built his career on being incredible. He can easily achieve that without any problems.
