Anthony Davis' pitch to DeMarcus Cousins to join him on the Los Angeles Lakers was short and to the point, according to David Aldridge of The Athletic.

Davis didn't have to tell Cousins much. The two All-Stars loved playing with each other on the New Orleans Pelicans and now have a chance to win the title with the Lakers.

The Lakers now have a Big 3 of LeBron James, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins. If Boogie can stay healthy, Los Angeles is getting a steal by signing him for only $3.5 million.

This past season with the Golden State Warriors, Cousins averaged 16.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 30 games while shooting 48.0 percent from the field, 27.4 percent from beyond the arc and 73.6 percent from the free-throw line. The injury bug didn't leave Cousins alone after he came back from his Achilles tear. The four-time All-Star tore his left quad in the first round of the playoffs. Boogie returned for the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors, but wasn't that effective.

With the Lakers, Cousins is not only reuniting with Davis, but Rajon Rondo as well. Rondo, Davis and Cousins were all on the 2017-18 Pelicans teams. Boogie and Rondo were also teammates on the Sacramento Kings.
