Good news, Los Angeles Lakers fans! LeBron James might return to the court as soon early next week, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
James has missed more than a month of action due to a high ankle sprain he suffered last March 20. His co-superstar Anthony Davis returned to the lineup last Thursday, so it really does look like the Lakers will have both their best players in uniform sooner rather than later.

The good news for the Lakers is that they’ve done relatively well even when both their superstars were out. They managed to avoid going all the way down the competitive Western Conference standings. The defending champions are currently in fifth place as they aim to avoid the play-in tournament.

The Purple and Gold believe Drummond will be pivotal for them moving forward and thankfully, James has the ability to make his teammates better.
Moreover, it would be best for the Lakers to claim the fifth or even fourth seed in the Western Conference. That way, they will face the Denver Nuggets then the winner of the first seed versus the eight seed, which is looking like the Utah Jazz as of writing.
The Lakers’ next few games will be against the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday followed by the Orlando Magic, Washington Wizards and Sacramento Kings. If Woj’ timeline is indeed true, chances are James can sneak in the lineup against the Kings, whom the Lakers face on the last day of April.
