Now that the Lakers have Davis to pair with LeBron, fans are expecting championships from the two All-NBA members, though things could get really interesting soon enough.

With the AD trade, the Lakers have created $32 million in cap space, enough to sign an elite-level free agent to a max contract. They are laser-focused on using that to acquire Kawhi Leonard who, up to this point, hasn't made a decision on where he'd like to play next season.

If the Lakers fail to land Kawhi, they will use the cap room to get multiple mid-tier free agents to fill their roster.

But no matter what happens with Leonard's free agency, there is no doubt that the Lakers' acquisition of Davis makes them the heavy favorites to come out of the Western Conference. Sure, filling up their roster is a ton of work, but with AD and LeBron on board, they have enough weapons to dominate.
