LeBron James is able to do things in his 17th NBA season that some players can only dream of. At 35 years old, James is still an athletic freak and with age, his basketball IQ. King James was able to show off that high basketball IQ in the Los Angeles Lakers' Sunday game against the Detroit Pistons.

During a fast break opportunity in the first quarter, LeBron James hit Pistons rookie Sekou Doumbouya with a behind the back move followed with a crossover and lob up to teammate Anthony Davis for an alley-oop that gave the Lakers an early 15-2 lead.

After not making the playoffs last season, the addition of superstar power forward Anthony Davis has vaulted the Lakers into contender status. Led by Davis and James, the Lakers came into Sunday's game with 28-7 record that was four games ahead of anyone else in the Western Conference.

The risk to trade for Davis has paid off for the Lakers so far and the on-court chemistry between James and the big man is among the best in the league.
