The L.A. Clippers allowed Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James to roll the ball up to the 3-point arc. However, James failed to capitalize on the golden opportunity.
See the clip below posted by Dime. Montrezl Harrell, the defender assigned to James, allowed the four-time MVP to roll the ball up to the arc. He had no intentions of snagging the ball for a possible steal. The commentators and the audience were wondering why Harrell and his teammates allowed James' antics.

LeBron James is shooting a decent 35.4 percent from downtown this season. A 3-pointer would have given the Lakers some momentum and a successful 2-for-1 opportunity. Thankfully for Harrell and the Clippers, James missed the shot.
The two teams are vying for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Clippers, whether or not they make the postseason, can label this season as a success. They were supposed to be rebuilding but have won more games than anticipated.
The Lakers, meanwhile, are under pressure to at least make the playoffs. Things are looking bleak for them. Failing to qualify would mean a failed campaign. A massive restructuring might ensue if they — and LeBron James — miss the playoffs this year.
