The Lakers superstar duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis have already gotten off to a hot start in Game 5 against the Miami Heat.

Early in the first quarter, James threw a no-look pass to Davis for a one-handed alley-oop hammer.

The Los Angeles Lakers, who are one win from winning the 2020 NBA championship, have shown flashes of dominance early in the first quarter. Danny Green has already notched in five points, which is certainly a good sign for the Lakers considering that he's struggled in the playoffs thus far.

Nevertheless, history is certainly on their side for Game 5 against the Heat. In close out games this season, the Lakers are 3-0 thus far. Furthermore, LeBron James has won 16 of the last 17 closeout opportunities he's had, including six in a row. With that said, the Lakers are inching closer to winning their 17th championship in franchise history.
