Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry couldn't help but be impressed with Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. After all, The King is simply a freak of nature even at 36 years old.
Early in the fourth quarter as LeBron led the Lakers' second-half comeback in the play-in, he drove to the rim and finished a tough basket over the outstretched arms of Warriors forward Juan Toscan-Anderson. The camera then caught Steph's reaction to the playâone which showed pure amazement and disbelief.

Greatness recognizes greatness. Also, it's hard to blame Stephen Curry for such reaction. Only a few players can finish tough shots like that, and to do it at LeBron's age is even more impressive. How many 36 year olds can pull off such feat?

LeBron James continues to play at a high level for the Lakers, so a little appreciation from one of his biggest rival is certainly welcome.
The two players have a long history of battles. They met each other in the NBA Finals in four straight years from 2015Â to 2018 when LeBron was still with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Curry dominated their matchups after winning three titles in that span, but James has some bragging rights himself after winning the 2016 Finals by staging an epic comeback from a 3-1 deficit.
Sure enough, LeBron and Steph have a lot of respect for each other.
