Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James did his customary chalk toss moments before the All-Star Game tipped off. As it turns out, Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors really, really wanted a piece of the action.

Curry was literally positioned under LeBron's famous chalk toss as the Dubs star took a worm's-eye view of James' epic pre-game ritual (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

‘Bron even gave Steph a bit of a glance before he tossed the chalk to sort of warn him of what was about to go down. Curry took advantage of the opportunity as he stared intently into the chalk exploding in mid-air.

Curry will be representing Team LeBron in the All-Star Game after James picked the Warriors star as one of his starters. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic, and Luka Doncic make up the rest of the star-studded starting unit.

Talking about being hyped, this is exactly what Stephen Curry did to every single basketball fan a few minutes prior to this moment. He absolutely went off during the 3-Point Contest, going off for an epic 31-point performance in the first round. He went on to win the contest against Mike Conley of the Utah Jazz en route to his second 3-Point Contest championship. Just another day at the office for the Chef.
