Snapchat has made a major resurgence of late thanks to its highly-popular crying filter. I'm pretty sure you've all encountered this hilarious filter in your respective feeds, but this time around, someone decided to use it on Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant.

The Grizzlies just saw their season come crashing down after they suffered a heartbreaking Game 6 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. Morant was not able to play due to a knee injury. To add insult to injury, a random user decided to apply the crying filter on Morant as he was exchanging words with his opponents after their loss. It's awfully hilarious and it's no wonder that the clip is now going viral (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

You can't help but laugh at the video because honestly, the filter is really, really good. I'm not sure Grizzlies fans will feel the same way, though.

It's back to the drawing board for Morant and Co. now that their season has officially come to an end. Despite the disappointing end to their campaign, there's definitely a lot to smile about when you think about the future of this franchise. This team will live to fight another day.
