The Memphis Grizzlies might've lost a Game 1 heartbreaker to the Golden State Warriors on Sunday but it was truly a fantastic performance from this young squad, with none other than Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. leading the way.

In fact, the Grizzlies duo made history as they both erupted for 30+ points, becoming the first two 22-years-old or younger to do so since the Thunder days of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook.

KD and Russ did it three times, so Ja and JJJ have a ways to go. Nonetheless, still impressive. Morant was cooking the Dubs, pouring in 34 points while also dishing out 10 dimes and grabbing nine rebounds. Unfortunately, though, the Grizzlies All-Star missed the game-winning layup thanks to some stout defense from Golden State.

As for Jackson Jr, he did it all, posting 33 points and 10 rebounds while going 6 for 10 from three-point land. It was easily his best performance of the postseason yet and Jackson will need to keep it up in order for the Grizzlies to stay competitive in this series.

Game 2 is scheduled for Tuesday in Memphis as the Grizz look to even things up at one before heading back to the Bay Area. Let's hope Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr can continue their brilliance.
