The bright lights of Madison Square Garden shined on Memphis Grizzlies rookie point guard Ja Morant for the first time in his career Wednesday night. During a first half in which he showed off myriad preternatural skills, this dish to Marko Guduric may have been one of Morant's sveltest of the season.

Was the assist a bit fortuitous as Ja Morant found Guduric only a split second before traveling? Sure, but that doesn't make it any less impressive.

Morant played 14 minutes in the first half and packed his stat sheet to the tune of 10 points, five assists, and two rebounds, all without committing a turnover. The clear favorite for the league's Rookie of the Year Award heading into February, Morant continues to be a must-watch commodity on a nightly basis, a fact that the Knicks are finding out for themselves firsthand.
